About Us

Bawarchi’s Restaurant & Bar was founded in June of 2021 by Christopher Nazir & Nirmal Singh. Nazir and Singh were inspired to bring the flavors of India & Pakistan to the food lovers of the East Bay region. Bawarchi’s provides an extensive menu of Indian & Pakistani favorites such as simmering tandoori dishes, aromatic curries, delicious biryani’s and more! At Bawarchi’s, we are committed to providing fresh, traditional, and flavorful dishes at the highest standard of quality. We are committed to not only provide quality but ensure that are dishes meet the highest standard of ethical preparation by offering Halal meats.

    Last few times I have been here it has been very good. Comfort food for us. I am sorry at the owner's passing and he was a good man always helping others. His young sons have taken over and doing their best as they grew up by their dad's side. These are very good people and very community oriented. They do so much for others and are very kind people! I respect this family and support our local businesses so I have been eating here more often!!!

    OK, so I have an admission, yesterday . I saw another Indian restaurant in Antioch and they had a combination of my two favorite dishes. They combined eggplant and potato in one dish so I thought I would try it but let me tell you it was nothing like the baghan and the Alu gobi here! Here it is phenomenal and I crave it way too much. So if you're craving potatoes, cauliflower and eggplant get both the dishes here and ask for them to be spicy and vegan just like me.
